LOVELY antique Victorian snake ring, gold ring, ruby engagement ring, statement ring, gemstone ring, stacking ring, solid gold ring.

This is a beautiful and rare Victorian era gold and ruby snake ring. Snake rings were very popular in the Victorian and Edwardian eras and were given as tokens of undying love and affection, even Queen Victoria herself was given a snake ring as an engagement ring by her husband Prince Albert. This would make the perfect engagement ring for a bride that wants something a bit different or would also be a great gift for a loved one.

This piece was made in Europe (unsure about the hallmarks but most likely Swedish or Danish) and is stamped 585 which is European for 14 karat gold, it has a beautiful warm, rose gold hue while the ruby is a stunning pink. An heirloom piece to be proud of!

Condition: Perfect antique.

Size: 7 and 1/2 US, sizing down is possible, sizing up is not recommended as the ring has a double band design on the back.
