Magnificent Edwardian Diamond & Lab Ruby Filigree Engraved Ring Platinum


                            A spectacular rare and historical piece from the Edwardian era! Although the central ruby is lab created, the ruby was manufactured by the same lab that Cartier used for a beautiful ruby red brilliant color. Such fire and brilliance it has for being man made. But a high end lab ruby from the best source. No one will know the difference! Invest in this beautiful find, or have a diamond/sapphire set in it's place. Just WOW. A huge sparkler with amazing hand engraving and filigree work with diamonds galore. This ring is comprised of a filigree, scalloped oval mounting measuring approximately 17.40 x 19.96 mm overall, bezel-set at the center with one synthetic ruby (flame fusion method), with four Old European cut diamonds bezel-set around the center, and surface-prong-set throughout with twelve smaller Old European cut diamonds, on a foliate engraved shank which measures 2.12 mm in width. The lab ruby measures approximately 6.52 x 6.52 x 4.63 mm, and weighs approximately 1.57 carats. One of the amazing adorning larger diamonds is SI1 in clarity, J-K in color, and weighs .52 carats; one diamond is VS1 in clarity, I-J in color, and weighs .58 carats; one diamond is VS1 in clarity, I-J in color, and weighs .42 carats; one diamond is VS2 in clarity, I-J in color,  and weighs .47 carats. The twelve smaller diamonds are VS1-SI2 in clarity, I-K in color, measure an approximate average of 2.50 mm in diameter, and weigh approximately .06 carats each. The total diamond carat weight is approximately an impressive 1.82ctw. This beautiful piece of art weighs a whopping 6.6 grams and is currently a finger size 6.25 and can be easily resized by a trusted jeweler.
