Orissa Rhodolite Garnet Ring, Size 7, Sterling Silver

This is a very pretty, quite substantial ring. The semi-mount is a size 7, sterling silver overlaid with platinum (very tarnish resistant), and has .56ctw of really bright Rhodolite Garnets. For the main stones, I used one 7 x 5, two 6 x 4, and two 5 x 3 mm oval natural Orissa Rhodolite Garnets weighing a total of 3.18 carats. These Garnets are very high quality, bright and clear. This ring is exquisite. Total carat weight is 3.74 carats.

I've set three very fine, 1.3 mm, "A" quality round red rubies into the surface of this 14k rose gold band. With its tool marks and textures, the primitive feel of this cast band is a sharp contrast to the precision of the faceted rubies. The satin finished band has burnished details and is approximately 2 mm wide and 1.8 mm high, so it will stack well with most rings.
