This vintage men's ruby ring is from the 1960's. The ring band is gold plated, so faceted ruby is likely not real, although it has a very rich red color. It's a very attractive ring. The emerald cut "ruby" is set into the ring horizontally and gives it a unique appearance. The band has some slight discoloration on the back of band and shows some wear. It is a size 10 1/2 and could also be worn by a woman.
