This is a charming and very pretty late 19th century ring with a pair of square cut natural rubies set in 10k yellow gold with a diamond in a white gold center. Each of the rubies measures about 2mm, the diamond is about 1- 1 1/2 points, measuring slightly under 2 mm. The rubies have open back settings and are a beautiful rose red. The ring is currently between a size 5 1/4 and 5 1/2 US size.
It is a beautiful small ring that would make a lovely right hand ring or an alternative engagement ring.
