Genuine 1920s Art Deco era ruby engagement ring or cocktail gold ring. The setting features pretty hand wrought open work basket. This is a gorgeous lab grown ruby with torpedo shaped inclusions with rich saturated red tones and measuring 10 mm x 8 mm (the equivalent of just over 3 carats by measurements). When worn, the top of the setting is elevated 5.75 mm from the finger. Total ring weight is a nice 2.8 grams. Marked for and tested 10K gold and with a makers mark of "PB". Currently the band is a size 6 - 6.25 but could be sized by my jeweler for an additional 45-.
