Antique Victorian Ruby Pearl 15k Gold Ring dated 1887. Size 8 1/4 in USA.This beautiful ring has the British hallmark and date 1887 dating this ring to the mid Victorian era. The ring has plain and flat gold band with the mount having a central square design set with four tiny pink Ruby gemstones and a central seed pearl. Flanking the central square panel on either side is an arrow shaped design with embossed decoration and set with a seed pearl. The pearls are a greyish color and the pearls and Rubies are set in 15k gold with the gold band also being 15k gold. I have had the ring polished by a jeweler.This is a rare and unique antique ring which is still very wearable and collectible today. If you have any questions please ask. The pearls are natural pearls however they are replacements. It is very rare to find original pearls for a ring of this age and the original pearls would be worn and darker in color and probably lost a little bit of shape which is why in my opinion these pearls have been replaced at some time. This is quite common.
