Art Deco ring dragon 14k gold opal jade by pass ring bypass size 8.5 to 9 and HUGE

SO much more impressive in person.

Asian Art Deco ring, solid 14k yellow gold.  Two dragons entwine: faceted ruby eyes, jade in their claws, and a 4-carat fiery opal prong set between them.

So much fine, exquisite detail.  The dragons have whiskers that flow back from their faces in an almost Art Nouveau style.  The entire band is textured in scales and dragon-ish detail.  That huge opal flashes colors and brilliant fires in any light.

Wore this to a wedding on Labor Day and every single woman there picked up on this ring and had to see it.  Or try it on, lol.  It's THAT eye-catching and noticeable.

Bought it for the shop a couple years ago, but enjoyed wearing too much to list.  Looked it up at the time, and one had just sold online on EB and one was in a RL shop. Both sellers said the style dated to the 1930s, Art Deco, and were Asian styled and probably Chinese made and highly desirable.

13.8 total grams.  About 1-1/8" high, 7/8" wide and 3/8" thick.  Size 8.5 to 9, hard to tell.  Stamped inside:  "14k " and "585".  The 585 is the European designation for 14 karat.  The opal is 4 carats high, a wee bit less than that wide.

Utterly elegant eye candy, and a real eye magnet.  Unique, skillfully designed, and masterfully crafted.  Totally impressive wearable art.

Vintage / antique, still in good displayable / usable condition. See pics, click on 'zoom' for big pictures :).
